Firefox 10 Available for Free Download

 The final version of Firefox 10 is officially released on February 1st, 2011 and available for free download. The setup installers of Firefox 10 have already been posted on Mozilla FTP server, which is accessible to all for download.

Firefox 10 does not have major change though, but is nonetheless a major upgrade as it improves on Firefox performance and built-in developer tools, which now added new tightly-integrated developer panel with the Document Object Model (DOM) inspector and a tool for viewing, toggling, and modifying CSS properties. In addition, it also support for 3D CSS transforms that offers a declarative mechanism for applying animated three dimensional transformations to individual HTML page elements and new APIs provide for full-screen viewing of web apps.

Additional features of Firefox 10 include:

  1. Includes a tightly-integrated set of CSS, HTML and the Document Object Model (DOM) inspectors
  2. Anti-aliased WebGL graphics
  3. Real-time previewing
  4. Extended Support Release (ESR) intended for enterprises customers to only download security updates
  5. Automatically marks add-ons as compatible with the browser
  6. Automatically checks for add-on updates every 24 hours
  7. Java applet and moving bookmarks crashes
  8. CSS3D Transforms will bring 3D animation to 2D objects
  9. Support for full-screen Web application and quickly navigate between page elements and view the HTML document structure for the page
