Apple Opens OS X Beta Testing To All Users With New Seed Program

Apple has launched OS X Mavericks on 22 October and free upgrade for all versions of Mac OS X going back to Snow Leopard. OS X Mavericks comes with a few new apps that strengthen the relationship between the desktop and iOS devices.

Normally for the Apple’s upcoming software, users needed a developer account to help test before hit the general user population releases. With latest Apple new OS X Beta Seed Program, users can test out Mavericks pre-release builds and submit feedback to Apple to help it iron out the kinks before general launch. Apple OS X Beta Seed Program is a program that gives users the opportunity to test pre-release software and provide quality and usability feedback to help OS X improvement.

Users just need an Apple ID to sign up and download the latest builds without a developer account. Apple will provide a Beta Access Utility for installation on users Mac and give users access to pre-release versions of OS X in the Mac App Store Updates panel.
