LaCie Core4 And LaCie Core7 – Stylish USB Hubs That Connect All Your Devices In One

LaCie has announced two new USB hubs designed by Sam Hecht – the LaCie Core4 and LaCie Core7. Both hubs come with built-in USB cables which can be fully concealed within the box when not in use. The design is neat, simple, elegant and practical.

The LaCie Core4 looks stylish in an exclusive matchbox shape. It comes with four USB ports; three external USBs and a built-in mini-USB cable as well as a standard USB cable for connecting to a computer. The built-in mini-USB cable is compatible with most popular mobile phones, cameras and hard disks. Both cables can be extracted from the matchbox with a slight push. It is really a cool and innovative portable USB hub.

The function of the LaCie Core7 is similar to the Core4. The differences lie in the outer design and the number of USB ports. The Core7 offers six USB ports, a built-in mini USB cable and a standard USB cable. It does not appear in matchbox shape and is slightly bigger than Core4. The Core7, however, includes channels to keep cables organized for easy mobility and desktop convenience.
