ASUS Eee Tablet (E-Reader + Notepad) = Kindle Finally Meeting Its Match?

Unveiling at the recent Computex 2010 is Eee Tablet, the latest e-reader cum notepad by Asus. Designed for students and mobile business professionals, the Eee Tablet features a 2450 dpi touch resolution reflective LCD display instead of the E-Ink electrophoretic screen, commonly found on other e-readers like the Kindle. The sleek Eee Tablet comes in a 10 inch screen size and weighs around 500gm. Asus also managed to squeeze in the stylus pen, a 2-megapixel camera, USB port and a microSD slot – all these powered by a battery that can last up to 10 hours (as claimed by Asus). Anticipated to be officially released only in September 2010, Asus Eee Tablet will be retailing at a price tag of $199-$299.
