Windows Vista SP1 Language Packs (MUI) 32-bit (x86) Unofficial Downloads
Windows Vista Ultimate and Enterprise editions’ license EULA allows installation of MUI (Multilingual User Interface) language packs to translate and change UI display language to another language for menus and dialogs. With MUI, users can switch display languages without reinstalling Windows Vista. However, with the release of Service Pack 1, the MUIs meant for Windows Vista RTM can no longer be installed with the following error message.
The language can’t be selected because the language pack version is incompatible with this version of windows.
The MUI language packs for Windows Vista SP1 still cannot be download via Windows Update, although the the MUIs have been released to MSDN and TechNet subscribers, in DVD ISO image file format. Few of the DVD disc images have been leaked to P2P Bit Torrent sites, namely 6001.18000.080118-1840_x86fre_Client_LP_1-FRMCLP1_DVD.iso (contains de-de, en-us, es-es, fr-fr language sets), 6001.18000.080118-1840_x86fre_Client_LP_5-FRMCLP5_DVD.iso (contains bg-bg, cs-cz, da-dk, el-gr, et-ee, fi-fi, hu-hu, it-it, lt-lt, lv-lv, nb-no, nl-nl, pl-pl, pt-pt, ro-ro, sk-sk, sl-si, sv-se), 6001.18000.080118-1840_x86fre_Client_LP_6-FRMCLP6_DVD.iso (contains ar-sa, he-il, hr-hr, pt-br, sr-latn-cs, th-th, tr-tr, uk-ua, zh-cn, zh-hk), and 6001.18000.080118-1840_x86fre_Client_LP_7-FRMCLP7_DVD.iso (contains ru-ru). As such, the standalone language packs for 32-bit (x86) Windows Vista SP1 for the following languages have been ripped and can be downloaded and installed as a new language in Windows Vista with first service pack installed. The following .RAR archive file contains only specific MUI language pack’s lp.cab file, so you can download only the versions for the languages you need.

I don’t think there is MUI for Vietnamese. You can download the Vietnamese LIP from Microsoft, and install MUI that requires as base language.

I really need help, i downloaded the MUI (french for my Ultimate SP1)(http://depositfiles.com/files/4425719) but I am not sure what to do with it now since I cannot open and cannot see it in the Language table as a choice to switch to. I downloaded it from tips and trick.net

The link is the one I am using, but I guess I had some kind of cache issue. When I booted another computer with no previous history of deposit files downloads it worked fine and I got the Italian version. Thanks for showing an interest and checking for me.
