Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16296 Roll Out for Windows Insiders and Build 16291 Available for Slow ring [Here Full Changelog of What Fixes, Changes, and Improvement]

As mentioned by Windows Insider chief Dona Sarkar, it will be busy weekend for insider member, this time Microsoft total released 3 build to insiders.

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16296 for Fast ring, Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16291 for PC to the Slow ring, and Windows 10 Mobile build 15252 to the Slow ring insider.

It’s just after two days released of Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16294 for Insider in the Fast ring. We expect there will be more build to be released in the coming weeks focus mostly bug fixes as Microsoft in development cycle for Fall Creators Update ahead of October 17 release.

If you’re opt-in as insider member (Fast or Slow ring), the build should available to update. Here the details of fixes, improves, and changes for the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build.

Here’s a look at what’s fixes and change in Insider Preview Build 16296 according Microsoft:

  • We fixed an issue where Hyper-V couldn’t create a VM on 3rd party network storage.
  • We fixed an issue where for the first few minutes after clean installing a non-English build many inbox app names might unexpectedly appear with English app names.
  • We fixed an issue where gaming apps using WebView with heavy use of HTML canvas might have unexpectedly had very low FPS in recent flights.

Here what’s new for Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16291:

  • Resume from phones to PC with Cortana: Cortana users can now resume articles, news from their iPhones and Android phones to PC from within the Cortana app. This exciting feature comes in addition to the existing features where users can sync reminders, notifications and SMS across their devices and stay connected on the go!

Here what’s fixed for Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16291:

  • We fixed an issue where sometimes after an upgrade Windows Update’s update history would be missing a listing for the feature update you’d just done.
  • We fixed an issue where scrolling with touch or precision touchpads wasn’t working with the F12 Developer Tools.
  • We fixed an issue where pin reset above lock (“I forgot my PIN”) would only work the first time the password was reset.
  • We fixed an issue where Microsoft Edge would crash if you added a Favorite to a Favorites folder and then immediately sorted that folder by name.
  • We fixed an issue with the indexer from recent flights that could result in Outlook 2016 search failing to index the body of messages.
  • We fixed a recent issue resulting in the Skype UWP app not being launched if it was minimized when you clicked an incoming call notification.
