Olympus µ Tough 8000 Digital Camera

Olympus has introduced the latest model of its µ Tough series digital camera – Olympus µ Tough 8000. The µ Tough 8000 is an ultra-tough compact digital camera that further enhanced on its waterproof and shockproof ability compared with the Olympus µ Touch 6000 model. The µ Tough 8000 is able to achieve water resistance up to 10 meters deep and shock resistance up to 2 meters high. It will also stand firm with 100kg of crushing pressure.

Beside being physically strong and tough, Olympus also does not compromise on the quality of images produced by its µ Tough 8000. The Olympus Tough 8000 features Dual Image Stabilization. This is the first time the Tough series digital camera offers Dual Image Stabilization technology which combines CCD-shift image stabilization with high-sensitivity shooting. Olympus’s Dual Image Stabilization effectively prevents image blur that may be caused by a shaken camera or subject movement and keeps images sharp in whatever extreme environments, whether on land or underwater.
