Facebook Messenger is an instant messaging service and software application which provides a lot of useful features. When launched, it official app force users to use Facebook and Messenger separately.

How to use Messenger without Facebook account:

  1. Install the Messenger app and open it on your mobile phone
  2. Once open, there will be two options “ I have a Facebook account” and “I don’t have a Facebook account”
  3. Select the “ I don’t have a Facebook account” and click on continue
  4. Simply enter your phone number, name and you will get a confirmation code
  5. Enter the code number and click ok.
  6. Now you can use it and enjoy the services of it.

New Messenger also comes with few features you may try now:

  • Able to make payment person-to-person in Messenger

Now you can send money to friends through messenger when you don’t have cash on hand and it is free of charge. Simply open a message with friend, tab the $ icon at the bottom and enter the amount then tab Pay with adding your debit card information. To receive the money, your friend just enter their debit card info once receive a notification in Messenger.

  • Share location

Click on More icon or the location button on your screen to share your location to your friends. It gives convenient to user by sending the location to friends when having the gathering.

  • Voice call and video call across the world for free

You can make a voice call or having face-to-face video call with friends and family across the world for free when you connect with Wi-Fi.
