Nokia’s New E-series Messaging Phones: Nokia E55 and E75
Nokia has unveiled two new E-series range phones – the Nokia E55 and Nokia E55 at its press conference on the first day of the GSMA World Congress in Barcelona. Both of the new E-series offer full messaging and smartphone features with two different approaches in design.


Nokia E55′s features:-
- The thinnest Nokia Phone.
- A new compact QWERTY keyboard – two letters per key which makes messaging easier.
- Overall dimension: 116 x 49 x 9.9 mm; weight: 98g.
- 2.4-inch display supports 16 million colors in both landscape and portrait modes.
- It has up to 28 days of standby battery life.
- Supports N-Gage games.
- 60MB of internal memory with memory card slot.
- 3.2-megapixel camera with flash.
- Video recording in VGA quality.
- Available in two colors – black and write.
- Other features: Bluetooth, voice commands, text and multimedia messaging, assisted-GPS with Nokia Maps, instant messaging, organizer features, IMAP4 and POP3 e-mail, USB support, a 3.5mm headset jack, PC syncing, instant messaging, a voice recorder, a text-to-speech message reader, and a music player.
- Expected to ship in the second quarter at an estimated retail price of 265 EUR.

Nokia E75′s features:-
- Designed for the best email experience via pre-installed email clients.
- A horizontal slide out design QWERTY keyboard with a standard numeric keypad when closed.
- Ovi Files services for accessing files and documents in your PC even when it is offline.
- Overall dimension: 111.8 x 50 x 14.4 mm; weight: 139g.
- Battery standby time up to 11 days.
- Available in three colors: Red, Silver/black and Copper/Yellow.
- Support N-Gage games.
- 2.4-inch display screen which supports 16 million colors.
- 50MB of internal memory with a memory card slot.
- 3.2-megapixel camera with auto focus, flash and mirror.
- Video recording in VGA quality.
- Other features: stereo Bluetooth, USB mass storage, full e-mail and messaging, assisted-GPS with Nokia Maps, a digital-music player, organizer applications, a 3.5mm headset jack, a text-to-speech message reader, a voice recorder, speaker-independent voice dialing, and a speakerphone.
- Expected to ship in March at an estimated retail price of 375 EUR.
