Microsoft Devices have launched Nokia X2 its next-generation Android phone in India. The Nokia X2 was unveiled globally in June as a successor to its Android-centred Nokia X handsets.

Nokia X2 is a Nokia X series Android smartphone that sports a 4.3-inch ClearBlack LCD display (480x800p) with Scratch resistant glass, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor, dual SIM, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear with LED flash and VGA front camera. In addition, it also supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4GB internal storage, microSD card slot, and 1,800 mAh batteries.

Besides preloaded with Microsoft apps like Skype, Outlook, HERE Maps, and MixRadio, Nokia X2 also offer 15GB of free cloud storage on OneDrive. Nokia X2 comes with Nokia X software version 2.0, a customised version of Android based on AOSP Android 4.3 Jelly Bean delivering an enhanced experience across user interface, hardware and apps.

The new Nokia X2 measures 21.7 x 68.3 x 11.1mm and weighs 150gram. Nokia X2 features a translucent outer layer and will be available in glossy green, orange and black, glossy yellow, white, and matt dark grey colours. It will be available at EUR 99 (roughly Rs. 8,699) without taxes and subsidies.
