  1. Create a backup for your Android device.
  2. Enable third-party app installation by checking the Unknown Sources box under Security in Settings.

  3. Download the ZIP fie launcher 4.4 and extract its contents on your computer and copy them to your device or download it directly to your Android device and extract the APKs file using any file extraction app.
  4. Install the extract APKs files on your Android device one by one by: PreBuiltGMSCore.apk, Velvet.apk, and then GoogleHome.apk

  5. Once done, simply press Home and select the new Launcher as default.
    Note: You can change to any other language by select Language to change the default
  6. Now you can get a new Android 4.4 KitKat interface that gives you access to your wallpaper, widgets and, settings with just a long-tap, and other great features on your Jelly bean device.

    Note: Select the relevant launcher when hit your home button to switch back to Jelly Bean home screen

If you face Google Search Force Close issue, just long-press the home screen in the new launcher, select Settings and then tap Voice.
