Add and Make Firefox Plays Click Navigation Sound and Audio Feedback Like IE

Internet Explorer in Windows operating system plays an audio feedback with a soft click or beep sound when some events happen such as on start navigation, complete navigation, when a pop-up window is blocked or when information bar is displayed. Firefox web browser, meanwhile is completely silent, without making any sound to notify or alert users.

Mozilla Firefox 3.0 RC1 Available for Download

The next version of Mozilla Firefox web browser is now stepping a little bit closer to the final release. After five beta releases of Firefox 3.0, the Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 (RC1) has been released for free download. As the same with beta release, Firefox 3.0rc1 public preview release is still intended for developer testing and community feedback.

Microsoft had released a Firefox version of Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool (WGA), in the form of plug-in or add-on. When user tries to download WGA genuine Windows restricted software from Microsoft Download Center, user is prompted to download and install WGAPluginInstall.exe which will perform validation test on legitimacy of Windows XP or Vista installed.

Install WGA and OGA Plugins for Firefox for In-Browser Validation

A lot of users doesn’t aware that Microsoft has actually provided plugins for Mozilla Firefox web browser that allows in-browser automatic genuine Windows or Office validation, similar to WGA Validation Tool for IE browser. When user attempts to download WGA genuine validation required application software from Microsoft Download Center, although when “Continue” for “Validation Required” button is pressed, user gets redirect to Windows Genuine Advantage plug-in installation to download and install PluginInstall.exe (WGAPluginInstall.exe or OGAPluginInstall.exe) plugin, however, in some cases, the “Download Plug-in” button will not trigger the download link to the plugin installer, instead will further redirect user to download and use alternate method using GenuineCheck.exe and the generated validation code to validate.

IE7 Installation Did Not Complete or Fail in Windows XP SP3

After installing Windows XP SP3, which does not include upgrade to the Internet Explorer 7 web browser, so users who haven’t upgrade to IE7 will still have IE6 on the computer. However, when user download IE7 setup install and try to install the new version of Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP SP3 on system running Windows XP SP3, the installation process may fail and user cannot install IE7 on Windows XP SP3 computer successfully.
