Cumulative Time Zone update (KB942763) is a cumulative update rollup that includes all the changes that were previously released in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) articles 928388, 929120, and 933360. KB942763 update changes the time zone data to accommodate daylight saving time (DST) changes in several countries. Installing this update enables your computer to automatically adjust the computer clock on the correct date in 2007 and 2008 due to revised Daylight Saving Time laws in many countries.

Server Core of Windows Server 2008 is a new variation of installation which creates a minimalist operating system. Server Core is a significantly scaled-back installation where no Windows Explorer shell is installed, and uses relatively little disk space of roughly 1 GB. Server Core can improve security and easier to manage due to few files and features installed, but all configuration and maintenance is done entirely through command line interface windows, or by connecting to the machine remotely using Microsoft Management Console.

Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (Windows Vista SP1) and Windows Server 2008 have been officially released, and Microsoft has published the complete set of DVDs for the operating systems in ISO image format to MSDN and TechNet subscribers for online download. As a reference, here’s the official filename for the DVD ISO image files for both Windows Vista SP1 and Windows Server 2008 that has been released. Both operating system has the same build version number of 6001.18000.080118-1840, and there may be more language versions available, but only English and Russian versions are listed.
