I stopped and restarted it and still my screen says my copy is not genuine. I bought this copy of Windows on a laptop custom made by a respected PC manufacturer. I don't know what else to do, so I'll get help from their tech support people. It's always something when it's microsoft! Went through these steps and the service indicated it was running.
