Hey, great post. I resolved this problem and was met with another that a lot of people seemed to be having. mod_security was causing an HTTP error after a few seconds of the 'crunching process'. I've detailed instructions on how to modify your .htaccess file + a plugin here: HTTP Error Wordpress Fix
